SHORE SUPPORT FOR 2ND TIME @KNVTS
For the second time, Shore Support was represented at a meeting in Haren for the northern division of the KNVTS on Tuesday the 5th of April. A presentation on the Shore Support research results of TNO, the overall philosophy and how to proceed with this unique initiative was given to inform the group of interested people and to stimulate positive discussions about this Dutch initiative.
The total group consisted of almost 25 interested people from the northern Dutch provinces, representing a variety on organizations; shipbuilders, shipowners, class societies, maritime suppliers and government.
Technical knowledge and experience on innovations are presented during lectures, organized by the KNVTS. The KNVTS (Royal Netherlands Society of Professionals in Ships Technology) has the goal to stimulate technical developments with the focus on the maritime industry. This society also represents itself via the magazine SWZ, on exhibitions, conferences and organizes excursions.
