MACHINEFABRIEK BOLIER

As of August 1, 2009 Machinefabriek Bolier BV is part of the SHORE SUPPORT consortium. With more than 60-years of marine and diesel engine experience Bolier will contribute to defining (technological) possibilities regarding shore support services, such as engine performance monitoring, maintenance, repair and spare parts supply and logistics.

Bolier - together with its subsidiary Moteurs Marine Méditerannée - is an authorized marine dealer for MaK power systems and responsible for the sales and service in the Benelux countries, France and North Africa. We offer our customers a full range of marine application services, from the sales process, through the project phase and product commissioning, to parts supply and logistics, maintenance, repair and engine upgrade.

Having service facilities in Dordrecht (the Netherlands) and Marseille (France), a 24-hour / 7 days service desk and an extensive stock of new, used, reconditioned and remanufactured spare parts for both current and legacy MaK engines Bolier is able to support customers any time and everywhere, thereby offering cost-effective solutions while focusing on minimizing the vessel’s down time. The service facility in Dordrecht has a fully equipped workshop for cleaning, inspecting, repairing, reconditioning and remanufacturing MaK parts and components, Napier and KBB turbochargers and Woodward fuel systems. With a quayside length of 225 meters vessels - with a maximum depth of 5,50 meters - can be docked. In addition there are three stern dry docks specifically for propeller, shaft and rudder repairs and overhauls.

Bolier is part of the Pon Power Group of Pon Equipment & Power Systems

MaK is a subsidiary of Caterpillar. The current MaK product line is comprised of medium-speed four-stroke diesel engine models ranging in power from 1,020 to 16,000 kW (at speeds ranging from 500 to 1,000 rpm), which all can be operated with Heavy Fuel Oil. MaK engines span a broad range of propulsion and auxiliary applications in (primarily) the marine market for all types of vessels – ocean-going, offshore, coastal, or inland waterway – and feature a high level of reliability, low operating costs and compliance with environmental emissions regulations.
