60 DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS AT HUMAN & TECHNOLOGY SEMINAR!
More than 100 representatives of 60 different organizations were present on the 15th of December at Pon Power in Papendrecht for the 3rd seminar of the innovation project Shore Support. During the break, people had the opportunity to see more of the company Pon Power by means of a Factory Tour.
Six presentations covered the theme ‘Human & Technology’. Issues were addresses such as the human factor within technological innovations, effects of mobile communication and new ways to maintain on board installations. Also experienced on board the Shore Support vessels were presented about among others the change in Safe Manning Certificate according to the equivalent arrangement and the use of PDA’s to test.
After the presentations and the Factory Tour it was time for the network drinks and snacks. The next seminar of the project Shore Support with the theme ‘Design & Usability’ will be held in 2010 and more information follows soon.
